Principles for Crisis Management
A crisis is an unexpected event which exposes Duni employees, the company and its image to risks. If a crisis occurs, all affected personnel should be prepared for the worst case scenario and know immediately the appropriate actions to take. All work to manage a crisis must be coordinated by a Crisis team.
The highest priority must be given to people’s safety, whether they are internal personnel or end users, depending on the type of crisis. Providing information for people directly affected by the crisis must also be top priority.
All local accidents and unexpected events which are believed could result in a crisis, must be reported to the Marketing Director and/or deputy CEO. They will appoint a Crisis Management Team (CM team) at Duni.
The appointed team, which can be at local or corporate level depending on the extent of the crisis, will plan and coordinate the work.
