The wage-earner consultant has presented his report and MBL (Swedish worker participation legislation) negotiations with local unions are thereby concluded. This means that the notice of layoff to slightly more than 200 employees will take effect. Production equipment will successively be transferred to Poznan and Bramsche.

“Union negotiations have been carried out in a constructive way and I am satisfied that they now are concluded. The closure of the conversion business in Skåpafors was necessary to be able to guarantee and strengthen Duni’s competitiveness long-term on the global market” says CEO Peter Nilsson.

The main part of the conversion business in Skåpafors is planned to be closed at the turn of the half-year.
